That is the problem with a three minute video show. You don't have time to tell the whole story.

Kings' Orchard, Prairie Farms and the Big Tomato are in the market to fill a need for fresh produce when there is no fresh produce grown in Alberta - October to late June. And even within those months, certain products eg strawberries are only available for a short window of time. These vendors are at the market to make sure that people can get a wide variety of produce when they want it.

As the Alberta products are ripe and ready for sale, these vendors will be buying as much product as is possible from Alberta farmers.

Lots of farmers love to grow food but they have no desire to be at farmers markets. These vendors will be supporting those types of farmers during the summer.

Thanks for the opportunity to clarify.

Re: the market episode 4

Tim, only "make it bake it grow it"??
